About ME

Hi, I’m Catherine Borel! I was born and raised in Sulphur, Louisiana. I moved to Baton Rouge to attend college at LSU University, where I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree. My experience working as an Adapted Physical Education Teacher allows me to provide individualized instruction and adapt swimming lessons to meet each swimmer’s unique needs. I have 5 years of experience in swim coaching. My background includes working with Crawfish Aquatics from 2022–2024 and at the Country Club of Louisiana as a head lifeguard, swim instructor, and the Head Summer League Coach of The Young Dolphins in 2025. I also currently serve as an Assistant Coach for the Zachary High School Broncos.

Growing up around the water, I have always loved swimming, especially spending time in the pool and along the river. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more aware of the importance of water safety and how often we hear about situations that could have been prevented with the right skills and safety reinforcement.

I understand that trusting someone with your child in the water is a big decision. My goal is to provide a positive and supportive environment where swimmers can build skills, gain experience, and where families can feel more confident during time spent in and around the water.
